Contentious Matters

Unfortunately parties often find themselves in a position when they cannot resolve matters amicably and financial proceedings have to be issued. We assist our clients in collating together relevant documentation, considering the other party’s documentation, representing clients at court or alternatively where appropriate arranging representation by a Barrister (Counsel). Even if proceedings are issued we try and focus on achieving a settlement to avoid legal costs increasing. Sometimes though final hearings cannot be avoided.

Please note that on request we can provide you with a copy of our company information sheet on financial proceedings and the factors taken into consideration by the court when considering an order to be made.
