Gilva Tisshaw is the longest established family solicitor in Mid Sussex. She studied law at Nottingham University. Having qualified in 1989, Gilva has worked continuously in Haywards Heath since 1996 and has been a member of the Law Society Family Law Advanced Panel since 2002.

Gilva was a founding Partner of Hamnett Osborne Tisshaw and de-merged in 2012 to establish a specialist family law practice. Now director of Tisshaws Family Law Solicitors, she is also Past President of the Sussex Law Society.

Gilva sits as an Assistant Coroner in Brighton & Hove and Honorary Secretary of the Coroners' Society of England and Wales.  
Lidia Farrell joined Hamnett Osborne Tisshaw in July 2010. Lidia has been advising clients in her capacity as a Graduate Member of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives since 2012 and qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in 2015. Lidia undertakes all types of family law including representing clients at court on specific matters. She is also bi-lingual in English and Spanish.
Craig Yeung-Williams graduated from the University of Nottingham before going on to study at Nottingham Law School and the College of Law. He trained in London at Philcox Gray & Co where he practiced both family and housing law. He qualified as a Solicitor in May 2010 and was made an Associate of the firm in 2013.

Craig joined Tisshaws Solicitors as an Associate Solicitor in January 2016. Craig has experience of a wide range of family matters including divorce, financial matters, private law children matters and domestic abuse injunctions. He is a member of Resolution and strongly believes in a constructive and non-confrontational approach. 
Hana Khodabocus studied Chemistry and Law at the University of Bristol before completing her Legal Practice Court at the College of Law in Guildford in 2008.

Hana completed her training contract with stevensdrake solicitors in Crawley, West Sussex before qualifying as a Solicitor into their Family department in 2011.  Before joining Tisshaws, Hana also worked at the specialist Family Law firm, K J Smith Solicitors at their office in Guildford.

Hana joined Tisshaws as an Associate Solicitor in September 2016 and advises in all areas of Family Law including divorce and the associated financial matters, children matters, cohabitation disputes involving children and property, as well as Family Law Act 1996 matters i.e. occupation orders / non-molestation orders. 

As a member of Resolution and a Resolution trained Family Mediator, Hana is committed to resolving matters as amicably as possible, although when necessary, she will advocate for her clients in the Family Courts.  Hana strives to achieve the best result possible for her clients and has been praised for her constructive approach and ability to empathise.

Verity qualified as a solicitor in 2007 having first been called to the Bar and then deciding to cross-qualify. She obtained her undergraduate law degree from the University of East Anglia and then went to BPP Law School in London. She joined Tisshaws as an Associate Solicitor in October 2016 having previously practiced primarily in Brighton.

Verity has experience dealing with a wide variety of family issues including divorce and civil partnership breakdown, financial and children matters. Verity often deals with matters involving domestic violence including obtaining non-molestation and occupation orders. Verity has a particular interest in non-matrimonial relationship breakdown and the property issues which can result. Verity is able to assist at the outset of the relationship with pre-nuptial or co-habitation agreements.

Verity is an active member of Resolution and a member of the regional committee. She is committed to resolving family matters in the most amicable way possible for the benefit of the parties and any children involved. She prides herself on her high level of client care and her ability to help clients achieve a positive, cost effective, outcome to their situation.
