Congratulations To Vicky Edwards Our Next Community Champion

Our next Community Champion is Vicky Edwards nominated by Esther Gunter for her work at Tree Tops after school club at Warden Park Primary Academy.

Vicky was nominated for all her great work keeping the children of TreeTops after school club engaged throughout lockdown. She and her team arranged virtual play sessions and even an end of year socially distanced picnic.

Esther said “It was my daughter’s last term at the school/club before leaving for secondary and Vicky even organised a truly thoughtful bespoke gift for my daughter. We were so thankful as the yr6’s had missed out on so much and Vicky’s personal and caring approach touched our family and gave my daughter a special “sending off”! I think Vicky truly deserves a special treat for all she has done for the children!”
