Tisshaws Family Law Solicitors can offer you expert, confidential legal advice to guide you through the process.
Whether you are looking to file for an injunction or have just been served with an injunction, we can give you expert legal advice. Having an order made against you can impact on related financial or children matters so it is important that you get advice that takes account of all your circumstances.
We have prepared a video explaining a little more about injunctions, but this is no substitute for obtaining specialist advice on your specific situation.
An injunction is a court order that instructs a person that they are prohibited from committing a certain act. The most common situation in which injunctions are used is when a relationship has broken down and one of the parties is alleged to be harassing, threatening or assaulting the other. This type of injunction is known as a “Non-Molestation Order”. Injunctions are also commonly used to control who lives in the family home and one party can be ordered to leave if the circumstances are serious enough. This is known as an “Occupation Order”.
We are extremely experienced in both obtaining injunctions and representing people who have been served them. Many years of experience as specialist lawyers has taught us that each individual situation is very different. We can help by listening sensitively and giving you straightforward legal advice so you can weigh up what choices will work best for you.
An injunction hearing often takes place in a very short time frame and you will need to have all your evidence ready to present quickly. This is one of the reasons why it is important to be represented by an experienced lawyer
We know how difficult divorce and separation can be, so we offer an initial one hour fixed fee consultation with a fully qualified lawyer, to help you make an informed decision about how to proceed.

I will not hesitate to recommend you when the opportunity arises. I have found you to be extremely concise, straight forward, factual, professional and I sensed no ulterior agendas (you really do think about your client rather than the money!) Thank you so much for that support.
