Supporting the community in a wardrobe update

Last week we enjoyed helping at the Time 4 Children’s clothes swapping event, Swap ‘Til You Drop. Eager swappers keen to refresh their wardrobes, made their way to King Edward Hall in Lindfield, armed with clothes they no longer needed. For each item of clothing swapped, shoppers paid £1, so it was £5 for five items and £10 for 10 items.

Reminiscent of Supermarket Sweep, once the clothes had all been hung on the rails lining the Hall, shoppers were free to dive in and choose a whole new wardrobe. Along with drinks and nibbles, there was a table of raffle prizes and the whole event raised an impressive £300, as well as being a huge amount of fun!
