The Resolution Awards 2021

Last month we were delighted to learn that our director, Gilva Tisshaw had been nominated for a Resolution Award 2021. The awards are designed to celebrate those who have demonstrated a thorough commitment to Resolution’s core values, and are actively helping families by going the extra mile to resolve painful disputes in constructive and innovative ways.

Juliet Harvey, National Chair of Resolution said, “All the judges were truly impressed by the high calibre of the entries. The work taking place across the country is even more impressive given the challenging circumstances of the last couple of years.”

Gilva was shortlisted for the Resilience Award to honour those who have gone above and beyond in their support for both clients and staff during the pandemic. To be nominated among such illustrious peers was an honour and we are all immensely proud of Gilva, of whom the judges said, “She offered commendable support for her staff and her local community having put in place a range of focused interventions that were both thoughtful and helpful.”

While ultimately, Gilva was not the overall winner, she was proud to be nominated among such illustrious peers. The Resolution Awards were hugely inspiring and have served to strengthen and inspire Tisshaws’ commitment to resolving family law matters with the minimum of conflict, achieving the best possible outcome for separating families.

At Tisshaws, we are all members of Resolution and four of our team have specialist Resolution accreditation in Private Children Law, International Family Law, as well as Complex Financial & Property Matters.
