We are celebrating our 11th birthday!

It’s hard to believe that 11 years have flown by since our wonderful director, Gilva Tisshaw, first set up Tisshaws Family Law Solicitors.

Since then, so much has changed. We’ve left the EU; we’ve had to contend with a global pandemic, and we are now ruled by King Charles III.

But what hasn’t changed is the firm’s commitment to provide our clients with exceptional legal expertise within a culture of care and compassion.

Over the past 11 years, we’ve continued to grow and are proud that two-thirds of our work comes through personal recommendation from past and current clients and the legal profession.

We’ve also been recognised as being one of the UK’s most outstanding law firms with rankings in both Chambers and The Legal 500.

Always committed to helping as broad and diverse a clientele as possible, we’ve also won two British Chamber of Commerce Awards for Trailblazing Equality, winning in both Sussex and the wider Southeast Region.

Our commitment to non-court resolution continues to hold strong as we believe this helps our clients to save money, time, and additional stress. By taking a non-confrontational approach, this also helps clients and their families to move forward in their lives on a more positive footing.

In line with our philosophy that everyone should have access to the law, we have also kept our initial meeting affordable and continue to offer a one-hour no obligation initial consultation for £50 (incl. VAT). This allows people to understand how the law relates to their specific circumstances and what their options are in terms of separation and divorce.
