Oliver Beyret-Powell

Senior Associate Solicitor & Collaborative Lawyer

Oliver is a dual French/British national and is fluent in both languages. After graduating from Sussex University with a degree in Politics with French and European Studies, he completed the Graduate Diploma in Law and the Legal Practice Course, to qualify as a solicitor in Brighton in 2008.

He has enjoyed a varied career including management roles within the financial services and property sectors, as well as having started and run a successful law firm in Gloucestershire.

Since qualifying, Oliver has specialised in family law, advising clients on pre-cohabitation/nuptial agreements and all aspects of relationship breakdown including financial and child arrangements. He also has a Masters degree level qualification in French Notarial Practice and experience of dealing with cases involving several jurisdictions, notably cases with a French element.

Oliver encourages his clients to explore non-court based resolutions to their issues and is  both a member of Resolution and a trained collaborative lawyer.

In his spare time Oliver enjoys running and swimming and spending time socialising with his daughter.
