Kayleigh Zmak

Kayleigh gained her law degree from the University of Sussex in 2022, qualifying as a solicitor in July 2025. Having chosen to specialise in family law, she joined Tisshaws in 2025, where she has continued to develop her experience across the family law sector.

A member of Resolution, Kayleigh is committed to its ethos of helping people navigate the challenges of family breakdown in the most positive and constructive way possible, with minimal conflict. She is an active member of West Sussex YRES, a regional Resolution group that promotes a non-adversarial approach to family law, constructive dispute resolution and high standards of client practice.

Kayleigh also sits on the Resolution Litigation in Person Committee, a specialist group focused on helping unrepresented individuals navigate the family justice system, while supporting the legal professionals who work with them.

Passionate about improving outcomes for victims of domestic abuse, Kayleigh is a member of the Sussex Family Justice Board (SFJB) Domestic Abuse Subgroup. This specialist working group focuses on improving the way the local family justice system responds to cases involving domestic abuse, ensuring victims receive appropriate protection and support from the legal system, police and other support services.

Outside work, Kayleigh enjoys spending time with family, friends and her English bulldog, Arthur. She loves exploring new places and trying new activities, while one of her favourite pastimes is getting lost in a good book on the beach.
